By accessing or using Thready (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Thready is a web application that automates posting on Meta's Threads platform. The Service uses OpenAI's API to generate post content, allows for uploading product images and videos, and automates post interactions such as liking replies and deleting low-engagement posts.

3. Account Registration and Requirements

To use Thready, you must:

  • Have a valid Meta/Threads account
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. User Responsibilities and Conduct

When using our Service, you agree not to:

  • Violate Meta's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Use the Service to post illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
  • Use the Service to spam or engage in deceptive practices
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service

5. Content and Intellectual Property

By using Thready, you understand and agree that:

  • You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content for the purpose of providing the Service
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you upload
  • AI-generated content may be subject to OpenAI's terms and conditions
  • We do not claim ownership of content generated by OpenAI's API on your behalf

6. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services, including Meta's Threads API and OpenAI's API. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thready and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
